We have been actively engaged in the applied technology industry since 1990, mostly with early stage high technology companies. Having been involved in the range of disciplines from software engineering, product marketing, marketing communications, sales and administration, we are keenly capable of taking complex technical concepts, products, and markets and breaking them down into their key differentiation making them understandable to the financial community. These skills have proved invaluable to our portfolio companies in terms of managing growth challenges and navigating complex and dynamic ecosystems, and effectively communicating the opportunity to later stage investors and partners.

USE CASE – RS Metrics

Thynk Ventures led a management buyout of the satellite analytics startup RS Metrics in 2019. Before that, the company has mostly been focused on using geospatial intelligence in monitoring supply of commodities (copper, iron ore, aluminum, zinc) through products like MetalSignals™ or commercial and factory trends and signals through TrafficSignals™ and FactorySignals™. After the MBO, Thynk Ventures introduced a key ESG focus and expanded its technology beyond satellite analytics to include current topics like asset-level ESG performance monitoring ( ESGSignals®), electric vehicle factory activities and production levels (EV Tracker™), and global custom event-driven monitoring.
