As an Entrepreneur, Maneesh co-founded NeuVis (acq by IBM Rational) where he raised over $80 million and grew the company to over 350 employees. At Huntington House, he created the first online #sustainable development marketplace, at MondoWindow, he setup the worlds first browser based moving map #IFE company. At Sirl.io he and Michael launched the first search engine for the physical world.
Investing experience includes tenure as a Founder / MD at Visium Ventures (acq by Visium Asset Mgmt) and Connecticut Innovations, where he invested in Mobile, Enterprise Software, Marketing Automation, and the IOT.
Investments and Board advisory roles include Booodl, BrainScape, CircleHealth Link, Fandistro, Fusar, Generate, Kaptur (acq by AHALife), Manjoor Estates, Mentii and YellowDig. CT Innovations investments include Frevvo, Keisense (acq by Nuance), NetKey (acq by NCR), ROI (acq by Revionics), ShopText (acq by Anomaly), and SmartEquip. Maneesh was also instrumental in the exits of Premise (acq by Eclipsys) and SilverSky (acq by BAE Systems). He was also on the Board of HigherOne (NYSE:ONE)
Maneesh has also undertaken a number of leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, and as an active alumnus of Columbia Business School, has helped many students and alumni to succeed in startup and investing roles and furthered the goals of the school to expand and deepen relationships with top employers in India, Silicon Valley and NYC. He is the Founding Career Coach at CBS, where he teaches classes, conducts industry panels, advises students and alumni one-on-one, and leads global trips. He also serves on the Lang Entrepreneurial Center advisory boards.
He is a Charter Member of TIE Silicon Valley & New York, Columbia Venture Community, Columbia Lion Labs, and Yale Entrepreneurial Society and a mentor to the New Museum Incubator.
Vik Muktavaram is a global risk and strategy consultant who works with our clients to solve complex problems in the areas of risk management, strategy, governance, and hedging. Currently, Vik provides consulting and advisory services to executive management and corporate boards. He has led projects for clients at Fortune 50/100 firms in the areas of risk management, strategy, and transformation. He has proven leadership ability in strategic program management ($25M funding), team development (25 staff) and regulatory reporting (CISSA, ORSA, Solvency II). He leverages strategic vision and communication skills to influence C-level decision-making and drive innovative solutions that optimize strategic risk management (reduction in volatility risk by $400M), create robust processes, and generate cost savings (reduction in hedging costs by $2.0B).
Vik was the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Old Mutual Bermuda, plc, an asset management company with operations in New York City. As the CRO he oversaw Risk and Compliance functions, providing leadership across all risk areas including credit, market, hedging, actuarial oversight, capital, volatility, rates, capital, strategic, and operational. He led the successful de-risking of a $6 billion exposure to global equities, currencies, bonds, and rates. Vik also co-founded Research Square, an innovative, elite research firm servicing the alternative investments industry by providing manager services and products to managing and optimizing existing Structured Credit Providers.
Vik is on Westport’s Board of Education. He is also a Director of Bridge Academy, an inner city charter school based in Bridgeport, CT. Vik has an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MS in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.
Loretta is a highly dynamic, skilled banking, financial and consulting professional with over 25 years in financial markets and related sectors. She has a worked for major investment banks at Board, MD or senior management level throughout Asia and India including, RBS (India), Macquarie Group (India), Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Elara Capital (India), Spanning a long career, Loretta has tremendous exposure to global financial markets, multiple asset classes and emerging market environments. Loretta has advised many international banks, global hedge and pension funds on managing portfolio and exposure to derivatives and related products. For the last decade, she has been paramount in successful transaction facilitation for Foreign Investors in India and other emerging markets. She has operated in many multi-cultural organizations. Loretta sits on the advisory board of UWS (Business School), Blume Ventures (India).An adjunct fellow at UWS (Australia).Chair of the advisory board of ADDCA (Australian Digital Currency and Commerce Association) and holds various advisory positions for multiple tech, biotech and Cybersecurity companies . Loretta champions the cause for responsible blockchain adoption with global governments , regulators and industry players . She was the recipient of the Fintech Australia, "FinTech Leader of 2017", “Female leader of 2016” and Sancta Sophia College (Within Sydney University) Alumni Award 2016 for Social impact.
